Hi! My name is Michael Plasencia. I am 27-year-old formally trained jazz musician with a BFA in Jazz Guitar from California Institute of the Arts and have been playing the guitar for over 17 years. I am well versed in all styles of music with specialties in jazz, r&b and gospel music on the instruments guitar and bass. The gigs that I play at range from intimate concerts to citywide festivals where most music that’s played are r&b and gospel. Having an extensive background in music allows me to also provide accompaniment for percussion and bass if needed.
